About this bike

The Giant Contend AR 3 is a versatile all-road bike built for riders who want one bike for fitness rides, long weekend routes and rough city roads. Its lightweight ALUXX-grade aluminium frame is paired with an Advanced-grade composite fork with an OverDrive steerer for precise, confident steering. Balanced road geometry gives a comfortable yet agile position, while the D-Fuse seatpost absorbs road shocks and vibration. Shimano CUES 2x10 gearing, with a 50/34T crankset and a wide 11-36T cassette, offers easy climbing gears and plenty of speed on the flats. Tektro MD-C550 flat-mount disc brakes with 160mm rotors and 12mm thru-axles deliver consistent stopping in wet and dry conditions. Giant S-R2 disc wheels support tubeless tyres up to 38mm and come fitted with CST Sprint tyres, and Velo cork tape with gel adds comfort at the bar. Available in sizes S to L in Icicle White, the Contend AR 3 is a smart all-road starter.
