About this bike

The Giant Trance X 29 2 is a capable full-suspension trail bike designed for riders who want to tackle technical climbs and fast, rough descents. Its ALUXX SL-grade aluminium frame uses Giant's Maestro suspension with 135mm of rear travel, controlled by a Fox Float DPS Performance trunnion-mount shock, paired with a RockShox 35 Gold RL fork with 150mm of travel. A flip chip lets you adjust the geometry for fast, open trails or tight, twisty singletrack. A SRAM SX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain with an 11-50T cassette provides a wide gear range. Shimano MT420 four-piston hydraulic brakes with 203mm front and 180mm rear rotors deliver powerful, fade-resistant stopping. Tubeless-ready Giant AM 29 rims with a 30mm inner width carry a Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" front and Dissector 2.4" rear tyre for outstanding grip. A Giant Contact Switch dropper post, wide 780mm bar and short 35mm-clamp stem complete the trail-ready cockpit. Available in sizes S and M in Amber Glow.
